About Me

I’m Kuan-Jung (KJ) Huang, a software engineer and technology leader based in Taipei, Taiwan with 8+ years of experience building at the intersection of AI, security, gamification, and Web3.

I’m currently the CTO at Metablox.co, a Web3 platform building decentralized WiFi networks and NFT game loops, backed by $5M in venture funding. I also founded Epoch Technology Co. (玖駿資訊), a software consultancy that helps companies ship products from idea to production.

As a Technical Consultant at The Octalysis Group, I partner with gamification pioneer Yu-kai Chou on behavioral design and gamification frameworks — applying game mechanics to real-world products for companies ranging from seed-stage startups to listed corporations like HTC.

Beyond Code

I founded the AIGC Applied Community in Taiwan, bringing together practitioners to explore the practical side of AI tools and workflows. I’m also an Agile Coach and speaker — I’ve presented at events like Regional Scrum Gathering Taipei 2023.

When I’m not building products, I write about software engineering, DevOps, and finance on Medium. I’m a GitHub Arctic Code Vault Contributor, and I believe in sharing knowledge through open source.
